Yes. No one wants to wash their hair to feel its still dirty which is exactly why we believe a good shampoo needs Sodium Laureth Sulfate (SLES). SLES is a gentler form of Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS) and is essentially the foaming agent within the shampoo that cleans dirt and oil from the hair. Its totally safe for the hair, and the environment and contrary to believe it’s not the colour-fading monster it’s believed to be. Although shampooing the hair can contribute to fading colour, this is mostly due to water making the hair shaft swell, forcing the cuticles to open which then allows the colour to leave the hair.
